Chrome plating is a powerful coating for high wear applications, such as those found in many industrial environments.
It’s rare for a machine shop to offer this process, but Milacron Machining is not your average machine shop. We maintain the stringent environmental practices required by the EPA to bring this valuable capability to you.
With 10 stations and a multiplicity of fixtures, we can chrome plate very large or very small parts, ensuring that they resist wear, corrosion, galling or friction.

Phosphate coatings, applied in the finishing stages, are a great way to protect your parts from rust.
Milacron Machining provides two phosphate coating options.
- Manganese phosphate coating: A heavy, long-lasting, oily coating that reduces rust on parts that must slide together.
- Iron phosphate coating: A thin, light coating that doesn’t build up on a part, so that it still allows the part to perform exacting functions such as forming a seal with other components.

Milacron Machining provides sand blasting services to remove rust from materials and prepare them for other finishing processes. Count on us for the experience and skill to meet your unique requirements.
Our in-house facility is perfect for parts needing restoration to remove rust or other corrosion prior to painting.
In addition, sand blasting is a key preparation for a variety of other value-added services, such as parts that require a manganese phosphate finish.
